This is the easiest and fastest way to get from La Fortuna to Monteverde, as you will be picked up at your hotel and taken to Lake Arenal. From there, you will cross the lake by boat to Rio Chiquito and continue by car to Monteverde with a total travel time of approximately 3 hours.
