Introduction
Liberia is located in the northwest of Costa Rica, in the province of Guanacaste, and has all the ingredients it takes to make a very popular tourist spot: the Rincón de la Vieja National Park, a modern international airport (Daniel Oduber Quirós), beautiful churches, an authentic colonial atmosphere, a rich history, and picture-perfect beaches.
Enjoy its sodas, which are small restaurants serving local food. Dishes in this area generally include corn, rice and beans, and some meat, accompanied by fruit juices or exquisite Costa Rican coffee, and traditional Guanacaste cuisine.
