Diving in the Caribbean
There are different sites with a variety of landscapes that are offered for certified and non-certified who want to experience the underwater world of the southern Caribbean.
The only active company in the area is PADI del Caribe, which has been open to the public since 2008 and has completed more than 500 certifications.
For visitors who are not certified, basic safety theory and skills are provided and divers are accompanied during the tour.
Those who are certified must also always go on a guided tour.

Uvita Island has 2 shipwrecks. One of them is the Phoenix, a ship that sank many years ago and has become a coral reef and home to many marine species.
In the area there are lodges that offer diving and snorkeling tours as part of their vacation packages.
