How to get there
By vehicle. From San José, take route
32 to Limón, passing through the Zurquí tunnel. When you arrive at Puerto Limón, turn right at the gas station before entering the city and head towards

the community of Cahuita, following signs for the Playa Blanca entrance once you reach Cahuita. Continue south from the community of Cahuita on route 36 and pass the entrance to the Puerto Vargas sector.
By air. You can take a small plane from San José to Limón airport, which is located about 35 kilometers from Cahuita.
By direct bus from the Atlántico bus terminal, which is located at the intersection of Avenida 9 and Calle 12 in San José.
The road is paved and accessible for all types of vehicles.
