The different products designed by statistics and marketing professionals are the result of compiling various primary and secondary sources, processing data from databases to which ICT is subscribed, as well as studies and research tailored to the requirements of ICT and the tourism sector at large.

Profiles of main markets:
Presents a summary of economic, demographic and tourism data from the main tourist-sending markets for Costa Rica such as the United States, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, the United Kingdom and Mexico, among others. The profiles include estimates of the length of stay for tourists from these markets that have visited Costa Rica, time-series data on arrivals, seasonal patterns and other data of interest.
Best prospects from the United States:
The objective of this study is to estimate the size of the potential market in the United States and to analyze the vacation habits of the so-called “best prospects”, which are people who have indicated high or very high levels of interest in visiting or re-visiting Costa Rica for leisure, recreation or vacations. The study is carried out in the United States every two years by an American firm that specializes in tourism research.

The objective of this study is to estimate the size of the potential market in Canada and to analyze the vacation habits of the so-called “best prospects”, which are people who have indicated high or very high levels of interest in visiting or re-visiting Costa Rica for leisure, recreation or vacations. The study is carried out in the Canada every three years by an American firm that specializes in tourism research.

The best prospects in Europe and Mexico
These studies aim to estimate the size of the potential market in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Mexico. The best prospects are those people residing in the different markets of interest who have expressed a high interest in visiting Latin America and the Caribbean for leisure, pleasure or vacation and consider Costa Rica as a destination for Vacation. The study was conducted for the first time, in each of the countries mentioned, using quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques (in-depth interviews, sampling surveys using "online" techniques). The idea is to update and deepen this type of studies every two or three years depending on the needs of the Institution. On this occasion it was led by an international market research firm and coordinated by the ICT's group of marketing professionals.

Travel itineraries to and from Costa Rica:
Direct flight itineraries from various origins to San José and Liberia airports have been constructed and updated based on sources including two flight booking platforms, number of passengers transported and the seats available on various routes.
