Esta sección contiene los documentos de los Centros de Desarrollo Turístico atendidos a la fecha, en el marco del Programa de Gestión Integral de Destinos Turísticos con un contenido de información general de la estructura de funcionamiento de cada uno de ellos que incluye información de los productos turísticos, oferta, demanda, así como otros aspectos de orden estratégico tales como misión, visión, escenarios a futuro, factores claves de éxito, componentes estratégicos y proyectos prioritarios.

En Costa Rica se ha planteado un Modelo de Desarrollo Turístico, basando su potencial diferenciador en la sostenibilidad, inclusión e innovación, para impulsar ese modelo existen una serie de proyectos y programas que se vienen desarrollando a nivel institucional como ha sido desde el año 2018, el Programa Gestión Integral de Destinos Turísticos (GID).

El GID, es un programa que nace como iniciativa de la señora Ministra, Maria Amalia Revelo, el cual se viene desarrollando con apoyo interdepartamental desde todas las Direcciones de la Institución, así como la incorporación de apoyo externo del Ministerio de Cultura, dirigido desde la Dirección de Planeamiento y Desarrollo, es un programa enfocado en trabajar en los Centros de Desarrollo Turísticos, uniendo las fuerzas locales que existen en cada uno de ellos, desde Cámaras de Turismo, Asociaciones de Desarrollo, Organizaciones locales entre otras, Municipalidades y empresarios turísticos en general, bajo esta estructura de apoyo se plantea una dinámica en la que se visualiza el futuro deseado que se construye desde la visión local, las apuestas de futuro y factores claves de éxito que ese destino debe cumplir obligatoriamente para alcanzar su visión de futuro, la conformación de las estrategias para desarrollar la visión que se ha planteado y finalmente se proponen al menos 3 proyectos de inversión, con un seguimiento desde el ICT y bajo el desarrollo y ejecución a cargo de las contrapartes locales.

Señor empresario, todos los campos son obligatorios recuerde adjuntar el formulario, copia vigente de la cédula de identidad del solicitante, copia del documento donde se le otorga la declaratoria y/o el certificado de sostenibilidad turística (vigente) y finalmente carta de la empresa haciendo solicitud formal. El no presentar alguno de los requisitos indicados anteriormente anularía su solicitud.

  • Juan Santamaría International Airport launches laboratory service for rapid COVID-19 testing

    • Passengers will receive results in approximately one hour, allowing them to fulfil entrance requirements in certain countries that require the test.
    • Laboratorios Echandi will be in charge of operating the service.

    Beginning on May 14, the Juan Santamaría International Airport, under the administration of AERIS Costa Rica, will offer a rapid testing laboratory to detect the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes COVID-19.

    SINAC and ICT ask visitors to follow a series of recommendations for a safe visit.

    • Engaging in responsible and safe tourism in PWAs requires consistent action on the part of everyone involved.
    • SINAC and ICT have launched campaigns to promote respect for wildlife and visitor safety.
    • Use official websites to learn about the PWA that you will be visiting.
    • If travelling with a tour operator or guide, make sure that they have ICT certifications and/or the necessary operating permits.
