Cruises (Maritime Ports):

Terrestrial (Borders):

Main characteristics of Resident (national) tourists and Non-Residents (foreign) according to surveys done in the border crossing point in Peñas Blancas (Nicaragua) and Paso Canoas (Panama).

In this section you will find figures regarding tourism in the country that illustrate the expenses and average stay of tourists, the main reasons for their visit, activities performed, demands, visits to parks and protected areas, indicators of hospitality activities, tourism jobs, among others.

The information is reconciled by ICT from different sources; the publications with indicators on the behavior of the tourist activity in Costa Rica are published during the first trimester of the ongoing year.
